How to get to Cathedral Cove in Hahei?

To get to Cathedral Cove by car, you have to head towards the town of Hahei to reach the parking lot located on Grange Road. The beach is accessible by foot, but also by kayak or boat. The parking lot is the starting point for the hike to Cathedral Cove, which can already be seen in the distance.
When you start The Cathedral Cove Walkway, there are several possible routes. You can go directly to Cathedral Cove by following a 1 mile (1.5 km) trail, which takes 45 minutes. However, it is also possible to follow other trails that take walkers to the coves of Mares Leg Cove, Stingray Bay or Gemstone Bay, famous for diving. If you choose to follow these, there is always the possibility of returning to the main trail to Cathedral Cove.
After three-quarters of an hour of walking, we reach a small wooden staircase that takes us to the beach of Cathedral Cove, where the famous limestone cliffs in the shape of an arch are standing. At low tide, it is easy to pass under the arch to reach the other bank.
